Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Volunteering at CommuniCare

What do I need to do in order to begin volunteering?
You must complete an application as well as provide a copy of a recent TB test (less than a year old), a copy of your MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) and a copy of your Hep B shots, if you are working in the lab.


How long of a commitment do I have to make? Our positions require varying levels of commitment but most are up to 2 months in length.


How many hours a week do I have to commit? We require a minimum of 4 hours a week.


Are there weekend opportunities available? No. The clinics are open weekdays, Monday-Friday


Where are the various CommuniCare Health Center locations? Salud Clinic in West Sacramento; Peterson Clinic in Woodland; Davis Community Clinic in Davis; John H. Jones Clinics in Woodland and West Sacramento
