Perinatal

Good prenatal care is key to giving your baby a healthy start in life. Because we care how babies are born, we provide prenatal and postpartum services that include medical care, nutrition counseling, social worker support, childbirth classes and one-on-one health education. CommuniCare’s Perinatal program is a certified Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP).

CommuniCare provides warm, sensitive, personalized care. Our staff of Certified Nurse Midwives works with a team of health educators, social workers, nutritionist, and medical assistants to provide perinatal care at three CommuniCare clinic sites and at satellite clinics in Winters and Dixon. Patients deliver at the Sutter Davis Hospital Birthing Center with nurse midwives in attendance. OB/GYN physicians from Sutter West Medical Group work in collaboration with the nurse midwives to provide clinical oversight and consultation for high-risk patients and back-up during deliveries.

Davis Community Clinic: Tuesday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am to 9:00pm, Thursday 8:00am to 12noon
Peterson Clinic: Monday 12noon to 9:00pm, Tuesday 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Salud Clinic: Tuesday 12noon to 9:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday 12noon to 9:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Winters: Monday 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Dixon: Monday 6:00pm to 9:00pm
