Lay Volunteers and Undergraduate Interns

Available Volunteer Opportunities: The following table shows the volunteer and intern positions currently available at CommuniCare Health Centers. Availability of positions changes frequently.

Basic Requirements for all Volunteers: All Volunteers are required to complete and mail in a Volunteer Application Form as well as show proof of:

• Current TB test (less than a year old)
• MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) immunizations
• Hepatitis B immunization (s) if volunteering for a position in the laboratory or dental areas

Volunteer undergraduate internships vary depending on volunteer position. TB tests are required for the duration of the volunteer commitment.

Application for volunteer positions: All Lay Volunteers and Undergraduate Interns must have a Volunteer Application on file to begin working at any volunteer position.
