Outpatient Substance Abuse Recovery Program (OSARP)
Our Adult Services Outpatient Substance Abuse Recovery Program (OSARP) serves men and women 18 and older who need assistance in beginning a clean and sober lifestyle. Graduating from the program requires a minimum commitment of four to six months, which is accomplished in four phases.
Phase I consists of 1½ hour drug education groups 4 days per week, for 4-6 weeks. Clients are then eligible to advance to Phase II, which consists of three 1½ hour groups per week. Phase II focuses more on processing ongoing issues and is 6-8 weeks in length. In Phase III clients attend one 1½ hour group per week. This phase focuses on transitioning back into society with a healthy support system. Phase IV is the Aftercare portion of our program which focuses on continued sobriety and relapse prevention.
The program services include:
- Medical detox for opiate and stimulant withdrawal
- Mandatory 12-step attendance
- Mandatory random drug testing
- Individual counseling for the duration of treatment
- Physical Exam
- Minimum program length 4-6 months
